We had a great time at this cozy guesthouse! The staff was accommodating and even provided us with an extra room for prayer. The rooms and toilets were spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was delicious. The location was convenient, close to the fruit market and JABU restaurant.

We felt totally at home during our stay and had no complaints whatsoever.

Comfortable and clean room with a large wardrobe. Bed was big and comfy. Staff were friendly and helpful, assisting with tour and travel arrangements. Free breakfast was nice and included. Hotel manager was attentive and offered alternatives to tours.

While the price was reasonable considering the location, the comfort level of the room was not the best. The room in the main building was old and worn, with a carpeted floor and a broken flush in the bathroom.

I got great value for my money at Sapo Karo Rest House. The room was clean, beautiful, and comfortable. The location was convenient, within walking distance to the main street and market. The staff were friendly and even helped me find delicious local food and gave recommendations for places to visit in Medan.

One staff member was unwelcoming and upset when we booked tours with other providers. Initial room had no space for a separate shower and only had small towels.

The location of this hotel is excellent. It is very close to a nice restaurant called Jabu, where you can enjoy delicious meals. it is conveniently located near the local volcano and the bus stop, making it easy for families with kids to explore the area. You can easily walk to the markets and immerse yourself in the local culture. The rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The included breakfast is a nice bonus.

The bathroom could use some updating to provide a better experience for guests.

sapo karo rest house exceeded my expectations on our family holiday in berastagi. the spacious, character-filled building and comfy room with a great hot shower made our stay enjoyable. erwin, the owner, was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. the volcano trek with tea and coffee was a highlight.
